A sizeable Silver birch was blown over in the high winds of storm Dudley on Thursday night. The crew clearing up the aftermath said that the root system was surprisingly small and had evidence of decay.
The lower part of the trunk was covered over with ivy and made it difficult to find a number tag, the following day.
