Apparently this tree gets its name from being one of the most common trees on the streets of London.
If you walk from the white house, past the bowling green and go down the hill past the fruit garden, this Lime tree is on your right.
It has huge leaves with five triangular lobes. You can just about see the ball shaped, spiky fruits left in the higher branches, in the photo.
